WSSU Accessibility Statement Update 2026
WSSU is committed to providing a comprehensive and accessible digital experience and strives to meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards. Adhering to this standard enhances usability and accessibility for all visitors, including individuals with a wide range of disabilities, and improves the overall user experience across devices and technologies. We welcome your partnership in this effort by reporting any ADA or accessibility-related issues or concerns to webaccessibility@wssu.edu.
Student accommodations are coordinated through the WSSU Department of Disability Services. Students who have ADA-documented physical, sensory, psychological, emotional, and/or medical impairments may be eligible for reasonable accommodations. This includes Veterans. You may contact Disability Services by email at dds@wssu.edu. If you were registered for accommodations in a previous semester, continuation is not automatic; action is required on your part. Please contact dds@wssu.edu to continue your accommodations. Accommodations are not typically retroactive.
If you need assistance completing any form on the WSSU website, please contact Disability Services via email at dds@wssu.edu.
