2. Financial Aid Reduces the Sticker Price
Financial aid opportunities are available to eligible students who complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). The College Foundation of North Carolina has a website dedicated to helping you complete your FAFSA forms. Approximately 85% of WSSU students receive some type of financial aid.
- 75% of students received an income-based federal Pell Grant. This grant does not need to be paid back.
- Paid work-study and internship opportunities can help cover your costs.
- 85% of students borrowed federal loans. These loans do need to be paid back.
