Support WSSU students while shopping on Amazon

This holiday season, you can support Winston-Salem State University students while you shop online.

At no cost to you, Amazon will donate .5 percent of the price of eligible purchases toward the Winston-Salem State University Foundation through AmazonSmile.

You are able to manage your purchases and other account information on Amazon.com and AmazonSmile using a single account. You can use your existing Amazon.com account on AmazonSmile if you have one, or create a new account if you don’t.

To get started, go to smile.amazon.com. On your first visit to AmazonSmile, you will be prompted to select a charitable organization to receive donations from eligible purchases before you begin shopping. Under charity, search for the Winston-Salem State University Foundation Inc.

After your first visit, Amazon will remember your selection, and then every eligible purchase you make on AmazonSmile will result in a donation.

Millions of products on AmazonSmile are eligible for donations. You will see eligible products marked “Eligible for AmazonSmile donation” on their product detail pages.

The Winston-Salem State University (WSSU) Foundation is pleased to announce the acquisition of 42 acres of property, marking a significant step in advancing the university’s commitment to fostering student success and enabling future growth. The property, purchased for $7.5 million, is located at 2900 Reynolds Park Road, Winston-Salem.
