Ram fans: Buy your CIAA tickets now

WSSU Powerhouse performs during Super Saturday during the 2017 CIAA Tournament. 

Tickets for the 2018 CIAA Basketball Tournament are now on sale for fans, alumni, students and supporters of Winston-Salem State University.

The annual tournament will take place in Charlotte, with the first two days at the Bojangles Coliseum and the final three days at the Spectrum Center in Uptown Charlotte from Feb. 27-March 3.

Purchasing your tickets from WSSU is the only way directly to support WSSU athletics. WSSU’s men’s team, with three returning starters, is picked to win the CIAA Southern Division. WSSU’s women, with three returning starters, also are predicted to finish strong this season.

The tournament will feature all 12 CIAA men’s and women’s teams vying for two spots in the NCAA Tournament. Over the course of the week, 22 games will take place to decide the CIAA champions.

NASCAR announced the expansion of its Campus Lab Program Oct. 8 on the campus of Winston-Salem State University, making WSSU the first university in North Carolina to offer the program. The announcement was made from the Bowman Gray Field House at a Memorandum of Understanding ceremony.
