Join us for Financial Aid Fridays, where you can meet with counselors and get essential information on SAP, FAFSA, and what you need to know before your semester ends.


FA on the Yard: Your Financial Aid Support Hub

Visit FA on the Yard, in the Breezeway or in Kennedy Dining Hall, to:

  • Meet and greet our friendly Financial Aid staff.
  • Learn more about how financial aid works.
  • Have one-on-one conversations with counselors.
  • Get your questions answered on the spot.
  • Stay updated on upcoming events and deadlines.

Let’s Talk About SAP! Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP): Policy and Appeals Process

Understanding SAP is critical to maintaining your financial aid eligibility. We'll help you:

  1. Show you how SAP is calculated.
  • Guide you if you've received a warning or made unsatisfactory progress.
  • Walk you through the steps to complete a SAP Appeal.

FAFSA Day - FAFSA Help Sessions: We’ve Got You Covered

Our Financial Aid counselors are hosting special events to help students and community members with the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) process.

Whether you’re a current student or a high school student, we’ll:

  • Answer your questions.
  • Help you fill out your application.

TIP: Make sure to create and know your FAFSA account and set a password before attending our workshops.


Know Before You Go! BYG Workshops

Before you leave for Thanksgiving, winter, or summer breaks, attend our Before You Go (BYG) workshops. These sessions are designed to save you from future hassles. Here’s what we’ll cover:

  • Verify that you have completed all of your financial aid requirements
  • Verify that you have no outstanding balances with the office of Student Accounts.
  • Account balances can affect your ability to register for future semesters, access your grades online, receive an official transcript, or get your diploma.
  • Make sure you're set to return from break and start the next semester worry-free!
