Tim Pittman

Biography

Tim Pittman is a National Certified Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor serving in the Wellness Center's counseling services. He has worked at WSSU for seven years. His primary focus is functioning as the university's Case Manager and as the counseling services' Assistant Director. He has over 18 years' experience in psychiatric and mental health services. He is a graduate of Winston-Salem State University and North Carolina A & T State University. He is a member of the American Counseling Association and the North Carolina Counseling Association. He serves on The Forsyth County Drug and Alcohol Coalition. His professional interests are mental health, alcohol and drug, personal growth, academic counseling, crisis intervention and stress management.
