Letter from the Chancellor
In March 2021, the Winston-Salem State University Strategic Planning Committee (SPC) commenced work on its strategic planning process. Our goal is to create a realistic and measurable Strategic Plan.
WSSU is working with an external consultant to ensure that it has a transparent, data-driven, and broad-based process that is inclusive of all stakeholders. Our strategic planning process is organized around five "purpose-driven" questions that will be explored in-depth by our Strategic Planning Committee. This committee and its subcommittees are comprised of 176 representatives from across all our constituencies. Everyone is invited to participate in this process through our convenient feedback form.
This website, which will be updated regularly, includes important information about the SPC’s guiding principles, subcommittee structures, and proposed timeline. You'll find upcoming dates and deadlines, committee reports, and the latest news.
I invite you to peruse the website and return often to keep abreast of the changes and updates.
Sincerely,
