WSSU's Office of Research and Innovation received a three-year, $750,000 grant from NC Collaboratory to support faculty-driven research that helps faculty launch new projects, test innovative ideas and acquire essential research equipment.

Nearly 600 Winston-Salem State University graduates departed to serve as they received their degrees Dec. 12 during fall commencement, motivated by senior class president Christian White to light up every room they enter.

WSSU Chancellor Bonita J. Brown officially introduced the university’s new head football coach, Tony Woodbury, during a press conference Dec. 8 in the Anderson Center’s McNeill Ballroom.

WSSU proudly announces the appointment of Tory Woodbury as the next head football coach of the Rams. A distinguished WSSU alumnus and former student-athlete, he returns to his alma mater with a deep passion for the program.

WSSU students came together in a powerful display of service and unity as all 14 fraternity and sorority life organizations assembled more than 300 lunch bags for community members experiencing homelessness.

This partnership between NORDP and WSSU's Office of Research and Innovation will support strategic planning, research development services and capacity-building to enhance WSSU’s research enterprise.
