Compliance & Ethics Week

At Winston-Salem State University, integrity is not an annual event—it is the foundation of who we are. Compliance & Ethics Week serves as a yearly reminder of our ongoing commitment to doing what’s right, every time, in every area of our university. This observance highlights WSSU’s dedication to maintaining a culture of accountability, transparency, and ethical leadership. It’s an opportunity for our campus community to learn more about the policies that guide our work, the resources that support sound decision-making, and the shared values that make us Ram Ready.

Throughout the week, the Office of Compliance & Risk partners with departments and divisions across the university to offer education, engagement, and resources designed to make compliance practical and accessible. These activities reinforce that compliance is not just a responsibility—it’s a reflection of our commitment to excellence and the trust placed in us as a public institution.

At WSSU, we believe that compliance and ethics are lived every day, not just celebrated once a year. Compliance & Ethics Week simply shines a brighter light on the values that guide us all year long.
