"The Fellowship took the financial pressure off me and allowed me to focus more intently on my studies. It showed me how supportive WSSU was of my endeavors. I am now a professor, rehabilitation counselor, and mental health counselor. WSSU and this fellowship helped build the foundation of who I am today."

Michaelangelo Fields, Jr. | Master of Science in Computer Science and Information Technology

The HBCU Fellowship was amazing for me. I had a daughter when I was still an undergraduate. The HBCU Fellowship allowed me to focus on my master degree while providing me the opportunity to take care of myself and my child. This support helped me to advance my career.

"The HBCU Graduate Fellowship gave me support to pay for tuition, books, and bills. It allowed me to attend the national conference for the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) where I networked with practitioners from across the country and expanded my career horizons."
