The Certificate in Data Analytics program is designed for individuals with a BS or BA degree (in any field) and who desire to work in health care, computer science, business, education, and other fields. The program is online and can be completed within 12 semester hours.
Data Analytics refers to qualitative and quantitative techniques and processes used to enhance productivity and informed decision making in health care, manufacturing, insurance, technology, and a wide range of industries. Techniques vary and include the design, development, adoption and application of IT-based methods in data extraction, identification, categorization, pattern recognition and analysis.
Qualify to be employed as entry-level data analysts while getting head start on your MCST.
Students completing this program will be qualified as entry-level data analysts and courses will also satisfy concentration electives for the MS in Computer Science and Information Technology (MCST).
