Biography

Dr. Pandora Goode joined the Winston-Salem State faculty in August, 2017. She holds a BSN from North Carolina A&T State University, a Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Nursing Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, a MSN from Winston-Salem State University (Family Nurse Practitioner), a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of Tennessee, and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Nursing Science from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She is credentialed as a Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) by the National League for Nursing and as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Dr. Goode came to Winston-Salem State from UNC-Greensboro where she was a Clinical Assistant Professor. Prior to this, she worked as an FNP at Alpha Medical Clinic, and as a staff nurse at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Dr. Goode's research interest is centered in diabetes self-management and end stage renal disease (ESRD) in African Americans.
