Wayne P. Smith

Biography

Wayne P. Smith, PharmD, is a registered pharmacist and the Pharmacy Director of the WSSU Wellness Center Pharmacy. He is originally from Greenville, North Carolina. Smith earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Professional Biology from NC A&T State University and his Doctor of Pharmacy degree  from Campbell University School of Pharmacy. He has lived and practiced pharmacy for over 25 years in the rural and urban areas of North Carolina, the District of Columbia, West Virginia, New Mexico, and Arizona. Dr. Smith has also worked in a variety of clinical and professional settings to include biomedical research, hospital pharmacy, community health pharmacy, retail pharmacy and academia.
