Master Police Officer (I, II, III) - Starting salary $62,682
Signing Bonus
- WSSU Campus Police is awarding a minimum bonus of $5,000 to attract highly effective law enforcement professionals.
- This bonus will be awarded after individuals complete the field training officer program, including all certification requirements set forth by North Carolina Training and Standards.
- Additionally, a second bonus of up to $3,500 may be awarded at the end of year two.

Basic Requirements
- U.S. citizenship
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 21 years of age when sworn
- 20/20 corrected vision
- Good physical condition
- Strong moral character
- Have or be able to attain a valid North Carolina driver’s license
