Behavioral Referral for Students of Concern
Emergency Situations
Behaviors which warrant immediate reporting to Campus Police 336-750-2911 instead of submitting this form include:
- Person displaying, using, or allegedly carrying a weapon of any kind.
- Person attempting to use or using any object as a weapon.
- Person threatening, with clear intention, harm to self or others (including written indication of harm or suicide).
- Assault of any nature, including sexual assault.

RAMCares is here to keep our students safe and healthy. Faculty and staff are often the first to notice when a student is struggling emotionally, or is demonstrating behaviors that seem troubling, disruptive, or threatening.
If you see a student exhibiting any of the behaviors listed below, please complete Behavior Form which will be sent to the RAMCares Team.
Examples of Reportable Behaviors Appropriate to Report Using This Form
- Emotional outbursts such as yelling or screaming
- Anger management issues
- Verbal or written threats of any nature, without a clear intention
- Intimidating or harassing others
- Shift in attitude, behavior, or emotional well-being
- Material written or spoken in coursework suggesting possibly harming self or others - submit examples of writing
- Harassment of others, including sexual harassment
- Disturbing or threatening phone calls or messages - save messages or campus voicemail
- Disruptive behavior on campus, including in classrooms
- Concerns of physical abuse of student including self-mutilation
- Any other overt behavior that you may feel uncomfortable with, but is not necessarily an immediate physical threat
