Operational Clinic Hours

Ram and Insurance cards are required for each visit.

  • Appointments: Please make appointment using the Medicat Patient Portal. Enrollment is required before making an appointment.
  • Injection Clinic:
    Tuesdays & Wednesdays
    9am - 12pm
    2 pm - 4 pm
  • HIV/STI Testing: Testing is provided by POSSE on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month in our residence halls. POSSE also provides STI testing at events throughout the semester. Visit RAMSync to stay updated on Student Health events and programming. 
  • Post injection observation: 15-30 minutes. 

Wellness Center/Student Health Operational Clinic Hours:

Monday - Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday: Closed

Missed/Late Appointments and More

Medical Care and Examinations

Students requiring routine medical care and examinations (i.e. physical exams, pap or pelvic exams, etc.) may schedule appointments in advance. Schedule appointments by using Online Student Health or if your symptoms require staff assistance, please call the appointment line at 336-750-3301.

Official University Student ID and Insurance cards are required during each visit.

When you are unable to keep a scheduled appointment, please cancel at least 24 hours prior to the appointment. This will allow another student the opportunity to take the appointment time.

Missed Appointments

For each missed appointment that was not officially canceled at a minimum of 24 hours in advance, students will be assessed a $10.00 fee. Fee must be paid in Cashier's office prior to next health center visit.

Arriving Late to an Appointment

Students arriving 10 minutes late will be rescheduled. Students with more than 2 tardies per semester will be assessed a $10.00 fee for the 3rd appointment. Fees must be paid to Student Health Services prior to next health center visit.

For general illness or medical questions after normal hours of operation, calls are forwarded directly to the HealthLink Nurse-On-Call or you may call HealthLink direct by dialing toll-free (984) 364-4742 to speak with a nurse.

Students experiencing life threatening or medical emergencies should contact Police and Public Safety at 336-750-2911 and additionally alert their Residence Hall RA.

Note: Student Health Services is closed during university observed holidays.
