All parked vehicles must display a WSSU parking permit and park in the correct zone. Visitor/Guest should obtain the proper parking permit to avoid citations.
All full-time and part-time students and staff, must register a vehicle driven to campus. A vehicle is considered registered once the permit is displayed. For staff, the permit should be hung from the rear view mirror and for students, in the lower left inside windshield. One permit per person. See campus map for instructions on how to display your permit.
Handicapped students and employees must display a WSSU parking permit and the NC HC Placard or a valid handicapped license plate. The HC Placard must be registered in WSSU Campus Parking Office.
Regulations are enforced at all times. After 5:00 p.m. individuals with a current permit may park anywhere on campus with the exception of handicapped, fire lanes, reserved, and resident spaces. Citations must be paid within 10 days or will be overdue.
Vehicles may be registered between the hours of 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and Fridays 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. at the Parking & Transportation Department located in the Anderson Center Modular Unit that is between the Anderson Center and tennis courts.

Appeal A Citation
To file an appeal it must be within 10 days from the day of receiving your citation. To file an appeal please fill out the Parking Appeal Form or in the Parking Office. The instructions for filing are located at the bottom of the parking appeal form. Please fill out and print the parking appeal form, attach the issued citation and bring all documentation to the parking office located on the Winston-Salem State University campus in the Anderson Center Modular Unit next to the Anderson Center and tennis courts.
