Frequently Asked Q & A
25Live is Winston-Salem State University’s online scheduling and space information product. 25Live enables users to view event information and request the use of space from any computer with Internet capability.
To gain access to 25Live you must have a RAM ID (email account username) and password. WSSU faculty and staff can log in at 25Live Pro. If there are locations in the system that you cannot request, or locations that you do not find in the system, please contact the location approver directly.
Yes. 25Live is used for scheduling courses, meetings, events, and calendaring. The expectation is that all space scheduling at WSSU will occur through this unified platform. Using 25Live is a very efficient way of finding an available space for your event. The system is set up to include a full inventory of available spaces of all types. Not only is an inventory available but the system keeps track of the availability of those spaces, easily allowing you to find a space that is currently available. Please contact departments directly for locations that are not found in or able to be requested through 25Live.
Yes. Certain spaces allow for multiple layouts of furniture. Use the Find and Select Resources page to search and request resources. You can also upload any additional information about the event in the
Additional Event Information page in 25Live. After submitting your request, reach out to the space (and resource) owner(s) to notify them of any special instructions.
You can arrange having food served at your event by contacting Aramark Signature Catering which provides all food services to WSSU. Aramark Catering can be reached at (336) 750-3160 or mail to: catering@wssu.edu.
When an event is submitted, it is initially categorized as a tentative event and others may request the same space and resource(s). The event is not "approved" until the space owner reviews the request and either approves or denies it.
If your event has been approved and you are wondering why it is not showing on the indicated calendar, please keep in mind these calendar feeds are updated every 30 minutes, not instantly. Also, the calendar approver has the right to remove an event from the calendar if it doesn’t not fit the calendar guidelines. For example, internal university events will not be displayed on the public calendar.
There is a designated “Location Approver” for each location who determines whether a request is granted or denied.
Contact the individual space and/or resource owner(s) and notify them of your updated needs.
You can always check on the status of your space and/or resource request in 25Live by finding your event and clicking on it to view the “Details” tab. The general guideline for turnaround time for the space/resource owner(s) to act on a request is 48 hours.
To sign out of 25Live please close your browser. Log out will occur at that time. You may also use the “Sign-Out” button on the dashboard located in the upper right corner.
25Live has a built-in Help page that you can access here. Please use the tab to the left to request 25 Live training or view the training calendar to keep up with IT training events.
