Summer Sessions

Current students are automatically eligible to enroll for summer courses.

• Just complete your academic advisement and
• Register through Banner RAMS with your ALT PIN used for fall registration.

If you are a Visiting, Special Non-Degree or High School student:

• Review requirements and apply for admission
• After you are admitted, our Admitted Students website provides one-stop access to the enrollment steps you need to complete.
• Then request your classes via the Visiting and Non-Degree Registration Form. 

Anyone may search for and find summer sessions course information through WSSU's Banner RAMS Online website. The schedule of summer courses is typically established before the first day of Early Registration (in late March). On occasion there may be courses added or deleted after the end of March, as WSSU reserves the right to change the composition of summer course offerings at any time. In particular, some courses will be canceled one business day before classes begin due to low enrollment, and this list will be posted online at summer sessions landing page on that day.

You can check back to see the list of canceled courses under the heading "Cancelled Courses Due to Low Enrollment" on the sidebar and clicking the appropriate link for Summer Session I or Summer Session II.

To search for Summer courses (open to everyone):

1. From the WSSU homepage, on the very top or on the far right, select CURRENT STUDENTS
2. Select the first option BANNER RAMS ONLINE
3. Select CLASS SCHEDULE
4. In the “Search by Term” drop-down box, choose the term you desire to search, and click on SUBMIT
5. Choose the subject you are interested in (holding down the Ctrl key to select multiple subjects, if you wish). You must choose at least one subject
6. Optionally, you may focus your search by selecting other factors to limit the search results
7. When you have finished choosing your criteria, scroll down and click on CLASS SEARCH at the bottom of the page.
