Scheduling A Proctored Test: Students with Approved Accommodations

If you are a student with a documented disability, you have the option to apply for Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD) which if approved may grant you testing accommodations. The SSD Office does require an application process and appropriate documentation. If you are already a member of SSD, please follow the proper process of going through the SSD Office’s RAMS Accommodate to schedule your proctored test, which will allow you to use your testing accommodations.

Scheduling A Proctored Test: All Other Students and Instructors

Step 1: Obtain Your Instructor’s Approval

For a WSSU student wishing to take a proctored test (such as a make-up exam) at the Testing and Proctoring Center, you must request prior approval from your instructor. Once your professor has approved of your request via email, forward that to Mr. James Pao. This allows the Testing and Proctoring Center to coordinate with the professor to provide test access. You must complete this step at least 2 business days prior to your test date.

(Note: If you are an instructor, skip this step. Instead, reach out directly to Mr. Pao with the specifics of your request at least 2 business days prior to the desired test date.)

Step 2: Complete the Online Scheduling Form.
