A fire and subsequent power outage at the USPS processing facility in Greensboro have significantly disrupted mail operations, resulting in severe delays affecting mail delivery throughout North Carolina.
Priority Mail Express Fee Increase Effective June 28
On Sunday, June 28, 2026, the optional fee for Priority Mail Express 1-3 day delivery will increase
to $23.36.
Wednesday, August 5th, 2026 Closed (WSSU administrative meetings)
Please plan accordingly.

The Passport Office will be open on the following Saturdays:

September 19th,2026, and September 26th, 2026
October 24th, 2026, and October 31st, 2026
November 14th, 2026, and November 21st,2026
For a quick and efficient visit, please “Join the line” upon arrival at the facility. This facility does not operate on appointments, the time presented when checking in is an estimation, therefore your wait time may vary.
If you are unable to sign in or see a "No slots available" message, it means we have already reached our capacity for that day and we recommend visiting us on another day.
